| The top two pictures are of Oliver opening his Christmas presents last year. The picture on the left is one of our family pictures. on one of our vacations. Oliver is a 4 year old male umbrella cockatoo. He has been with us since he was 7 months old. And the only bird here for all those years. He stays in the living room but has perches through out the house. Oliver screams some, but does not bite or feather pluck. He talks quite a bit, calls all the kids by name. Tells the dogs when they are bad. Loves everyone! Eats with the whole family and is more like a brother than a parrot. Oliver is flight suite trained. He is clipped but wears a flight suite also. We walk, hike, camp and go on family vacations with Oliver. There are several pictures of Oliver and I try to update often. Oliver takes a lot of care to keep him happy and healthy. But its worth everybite. We recently decided to add a quaker to your family, unforturnatly 10 days after we brought the new quaker home he passed away. Come to find out he had several health issues. Luckiely I quaranteened the quaker, and kept him away from Oliver. Oliver has seen the vet for tests to make sure he didnt catch anything. All test results are good! And Oliver is fine. |
