"With the qualities of cleanliness, discretion,
affection, dignity, and courage that cats have,
how many of us, I ask you, would be capable of being
cats"? (Fernand Mery)

Rozeecoonz Korona

After the death of my beloved moggy in early January
my husband and I after much discussion decided on buying our first pedigree queen.
There were many heated discussions in our house over which breed to buy but we finally decided on Maine Coon.

Our next job was to locate one, which wasnt as easy as I thought
but nothing was going to put me off and after many hours on the phone,
we came across a breeder only twenty miles away with kittens available

Although we were not able to choose from the litter, our kitten, I believed,
was by far the prettiest and after a long wait Korona came to live with us on 19th May 2004
She made herself at home after only three hours and my sister nicknamed her Posh which has stuck.

.

On Sunday 18th July 2004 we attended our first show in Bristol and I must admit to absolutely dreading it.
I was so scared that I wouldn't have prepared Posh in the appropriate manner.
However the day was brilliant, I really enjoyed the day off from the household chores and we both found the judging nerve wracking.

Posh achieved an Excellent 2 which we were thrilled about.

We look forward to many more shows with her and will of course keep you updates on her progress.
