Marilyn Manson is a band with 5 components that you/he/she was created in Fort Lauderdale, south of Florida in 1989, when a journalist with a private displeasure for the American society and a book full of poems and curious annotations also joined the strange talented guitarist with will of doing something new. The guitarist followed the example and you/he/she used of the same formula of the opposites creating Daisy Berkowitz. This formula would be used up to 1996...... .Em 1990 the name of the band was Marilyn Manson And The Spooky Kids and its formation was: Manson in the vocal ones, Berkowitz in the guitar and in the programming it would beat, Olivia Newton-Bundy in the bass and Zsa Zsa Speck in the keyboard. Bundy and Speck were substituted after two shows by Gidget Gein and Madonna Wayne Gacy...... .O 1st release of the group was the cassette Meat Beat Cleaver Beat Big Black Bus. In this recording, Manson and Berkowitz only participated, in spite Gein and Gacy be already in the band. While Manson sang, versatile Berkowitz made the rest: guitar, low, keyboard and battery programming...... .Um of its first shows would influence the future of the band seriously: they opened for Nine Inch Nails. NiN was not known at that time and Trent Reznor (leader of the band) it was not still influential nor he/she had its own stamp, but the friendship between him and Manson lasted for many years. To maintain contact after the show, they changed ribbons and they belonged together.

In the end, he would just be called Mr. Manson...... .No Slammies 1993 the band was already known and he/she had very more indications: Better Band, Better Band Alternative, Better Local Recording (The Family Jam´s), Music of the Year (Dope Hat) and even Better Vocalist. They won the best music and the best band...... .1993 were with certainty one of the best years for the band. Besides they already win the prizes mentioned, they were contracted for the recently servant stamp of Trent Reznor, Nothing Records. They spent 7 weeks mixando the album in L. A.´s Record Plant. The credit of Reznor in POAAF is only of executive producer. The album was thrown in January of 1994. All the critics to the album were positive, saying that this disk was more serious and deep than POAAF. ACS estreiou in the 3rd place of the stop of Billboard. The reaction of the fans was positive, but many complained of the lack of the humorous tone of POAAF and SLC.
