Silent Plea
Guide me Lord...
Lead me into that pasture which lies in your shadow
and give me rest.
Take me each day to that beautiful valley called "Peace,"
that heavenly place far away from the worries of this life,
the place where serenity dwells.
Allow me to graze upon your goodness.
Remind me Lord, as only you can
that all things will work together to the good
because I trust you.
And hold me Lord, please hold me...
for though I know you are ever near,
still I fear for I am weak.
I need your strength to help me through each day.
And when I place limitations on what you can do
help me to stand still and believe, that indeed
