| You know... in this day and age, it seems that people will so quickly give you a piece of their mind. What I hope to do with these few pages is give you a piece of my heart. My name is Joanne. I am a wife, mother and grandmother and live in small town America. If we were to meet in person, I think you would find me to be a "down home country girl". I love my family (husband Gary, daughter Kristi, son-in-law Chuck and one and only grandchild (to date) Logan, who is the joy of my life. I am the seventh child in a family of nine, so I have many brothers and sisters to love. And I do! I am a teenager, uh... in Christ that is! I know this is true because I find that although I have grown very much in the faith, like any teenager, I realize every day that I have a very long way to go before I am grown. But I love the Lord and strive to serve Him daily. I can't conceive how anyone could get by one day without Him in their lives! He is my mainstay, my strength and in times of trouble, my rock. I am a member of a small, but growing church and enjoy participating as the Nursery Sunday School teacher, kitchen supervisor and assistant to the choir director. In addition to my church life, my sister and I serve the Lord by way of our singing ministry, visiting churches, nursing and retirement homes, hospitals, local festivals and wherever else the Lord opens the door. We have been truly blessed by the number of opportunities the Lord has placed in our path and He never fails to give us words of testimony and praise of His goodness and love in our lives. He has also blessed me with the talent of poetry and writing and that is what this website is all about. I love to share the thoughts that He has placed on my heart. I pray that each one who visits here will receive a special blessing and walk away from this site feeling as though they have been given a "piece of my heart."
