| Jolteus: All right, let's start with my trip up to Stanford for a field hockey tournament. So I stop at Carls Jr.(yuck; I was unfortunately car pooling with people who like fast food) for an early dinner on my way up. So I'm looking at the menu trying to see if they have anything that's not a burger(after watching Arjuna I will never eat meat again; it's one of my fav. animes, but it scarred me for life). So I decide on a fish taco, after I order, the lady who took my order compliments me on my shirt and says since she likes it so much she'll give me my meal half price(I am not lying this seriously happened!). It wasn't that big of a deal though, for it was a taco and a drink. Well the shirt I was wearing was a Neon Genesis Evangelion shirt with the Eva units in the front and the pilots eyes in the back. But that wasn't the only compliment I got on that shirt that day, you see before I left for Stanford, I had a school dance. The theme was really stupid, it waas come as you are. So I I came full anime, all I needed were anime pants and shoes. Well I wore the Evangelion shirt, my Ranma1/2 watch and I wore a hat with goggles on them. Everyone loved the shirt, this one girl came up to me and said she had no idea what Evangelion was, but the shirt was kick ass. Goten: Well here's another story: We went to Jolteus' cousin's roller hockey game, and all the kids had nicknames on the back of their jerseys. Well from her cousin's team one jersey had Exodia and another one had Lady Meow. Well Exodia is from Yu-Gi-Oh as my cousin tells me. The most powerful card. Lady Meow is from Tsukikage Ran(aka Carried by the Wind). Now Lady Meow we could see as a coincidence, but her cousin says the Exodia isn't. Jolteus: I also got noticed for wearing a Trigun shirt in the middle of Hollywood! Goten and I were walking along and this one guy we pass yells: "Trigun, no way!" We actually got in a really good conversation on Ninja Scroll. Now I have been comented 4 times on my Trigun shirt! |
