Location
In the Republic of Ireland, Mount Juliet is located in Thomastown which is within easy reach of Dublin by car or chauffeur-driven limousines organised through the resort. Flights arrive at Cork, Dublin, Shannon and Waterford Airports. By rail, the nearest station is in Thomastown on the main Dublin Waterford line.

Golf Courses
The 18-hole, par-72, Jack Nicklaus signature course takes full advantage of the mature landscape and natural beauty of the estate. Venue of the Irish Open in 1993, 1994 and 1995, the course has earned a reputation as the Augusta of Europe. The 7,100-yard championship layout, set in 180 acres, challenges professionals and is equally rewarding for higher handicap golfers. An extensive irrigation and drainage system
makes the course playable all year round.

Facilities
An aura of 18th century grandeur prevails in the 32 'en suite' bedrooms, and each one has retained its own individual character and ambience. For longer stays, guests will appreciate the independence and privacy of the self-contained Rose Garden Suites. These all have two 'en suite' bedrooms, dining room, lounge and kitchen. In the clubhouse, golfers can meet friends in the Spike Bar or unwind in the President's Bar overlooking the practice area. The refined 18th century decor of the Lady Helen Dining Room at Mount Juliet House sets the tone as the estate's finest restaurant. A menu of distinguished Irish and classic European dishes is offered each evening, prepared using the best of fresh local produce. The Hunters Yard is designed around a traditional courtyard and is the centre of Mount Juliet's many sporting activities. The leisure centre provides an opportunity for invigorating exercise or gentle relaxation with a fully equipped gym, pool, steam room and sauna. Golf lessons are on offer with tuition from PGA professional staff at the Mount Juliet Golf Academy with one of the best practice facilities in Europe. After a coaching session, techniques can be honed on the unique Jack Nicklaus designed three-hole academy course.

Packages
Golf packages include the Low (November to March), High (April, May, August and October) and Premium (June, July and September) green fees for residents at Ir£45 (Ir£55 at weekends), Ir£55 (Ir£65) and Ir£60 (Ir£70) per person for 18 holes of golf on the championship course.

Mount Juliet House, built by the Earl of Carrick over 200 years ago, still displays the work of master craftsmen at its finest. The elegance of the original decor has been painstakingly preserved and enhanced. In the great country house tradition, sport is prevalent at Mount Juliet.
