Location
The Phoenician is located at the base of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale's Valley of the Sun, only nine miles from Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport. To reach The Phoenician, take Sky Harbour Boulevard to 44th Street and turn left. At Camelback Road, turn right and follow to Jokake Boulevard, then turn left into The Phoenician. For guests preferring to drive from further afield, the resort can be reached from southern California, Las Vegas and many other major American cities within a day's travelling.

Golf Courses
The resort has three nine-hole layouts which combine to offer a par of 105 and 9,450 yards of golf. In the tropical setting of the Homer Flint-designed Oasis Nine, enchanting yet treacherous water features await at every turn. The magnificent Desert Nine has been redesigned by Ted Robinson Sr to enhance the imposing presence of Camelback Mountain as the course hugs its base and is protected by the giant, majestic Saguaro cacti, mesquite and desert sage. The breathtaking landscape of the Canyon Nine offers golfers sweeping views of the Valley of the Sun to complete the triumvirate of Arizona courses. This is golf for the connoisseur, and the only problem that guests will have, no matter what standard of golf they play, is trying to find courses to match the beauty and condition of the golf at The Phoenician once they have departed. It is advisable for guests not to have too many pressing engagements immediately after they visit the resort, because once they are here they will, more than likely, not want to leave. The average yearly temperature in this part of Arizona is in the 70s, with consistently low humidity and an abundance of sunshine for at least 300 days a year. Benefiting from hot summers and mild winters, this is a climate well-suited to playing golf in the conditions for which the sport is best enjoyed.
