Location
Lana'i is easily reached by air - only 25 minutes from Honolulu. Daily air service is available with more than 100 flights per week via Hawaiian Airlines and Island Air. Hawaii's long days of sunshine and fairly mild temperatures make it a year-round destination.

Golf Courses
Designed by Greg Norman and Ted Robinson, The Experience at Koele is a par-72 championship course measuring 7,014 yards from tournament tees. The first seven holes sit on a forested plateau some 2,000 feet above sea level, where morning mists rise to provide panoramic views. The back nine features undulating links-style play where streams and cascading waterfalls flow to a lake completely surrounding the 17th green. The second par-72 course, covering 7,039 yards, is a Jack Nicklaus masterpiece. The Challenge at neighbouring Manele is carved from lava cliffs 150 feet above the crashing surf, it challenges even the best golfers to play precise tee shots over natural lava gorges.

Facilities
The Lodge at Koele has more than 100 rooms and suites and is located high amidst the majestic island pines. It combines the charm and atmosphere of a traditional English country manor with the special allure and breathtaking beauty of Lana'i. The focal point is its Great Hall where high ceilings with exquisite lighting, magnificent twin stone fireplaces and a rare art collection can be enjoyed while dining. Romance and privacy characterise this very special resort. The three tennis courts at the Lodge along with a fitness centre, horseback riding, croquet lawn and amenities such as a swimming pool and whirlpool are all available while hiking trails, island tours, bicycles and a library are also available to be enjoyed.

Packages
Daily room rates at The Lodge start at $400 and go up to $2,200 based on double occupancy. A special golf package offers unlimited golf on either the Challenge at Manele or the Experience at Koele with daily complimentary range balls and a golf gift.
