You see, Life is a game, and we are all programmed from conception to win. For instance, do you know how many sperms died trying to get to the womb of which you were born? Did you learn to walk, talk, and understand language? Are you reading this sentence? These are all things that were inherently a part of your human make-up. You are a natural born achiever.
I know it may be hard to believe that statement, because Life comes with many a curve ball. What you must train yourself to believe is that it takes a curve ball to show you where you can improve yourself. No matter how difficult, "ALL things work for the good..." It's a biblical principle that works. If you know that, deep down, then you must simply open your eyes to actively notice the beauty. It appears moment after moment for every waking moment of your life.
That's the Win/Win Player mentality. It's more than optimism. It's more than appreciation. It's winning by letting "wins" happen. Every breath is a win for you and for me. Some people choose to add pollutants (like cigarettes), and some suffer due to others' choices (environmental ills). But the fact is, it's the only consistent thing (next to change) in Life. Learn to "work with" in order to have the choice to do without sooner or later. That is the Art of Winning.
