| Joe: David Boston is a monster. I wish I could attach a picture here. How did I not know how fucking huge he is? He is huge! He doesnt eat babies. He eats full-grown moose. He is a God damn monster. Apparently the Cardinals traded him because he weighs like 260 and runs the 40 in like 2.3. They apparently thought he would tear a ligament because hes so fuckin huge. I apparently would not have enough fat on my ass to fry my ears. Thats what Stefan just said. David Boston, unfortunately, is in Martyville, but I lovim. Phil: I know Joe will talk about David Bostons size, so Ill talk about how this was too early. I love Rileys draft, but other WRs were better in this spot. Its hard to tell how a huge man on relatively small legs will play in a new offense. Joe: Eddie George. That was the pick that I should not have made. Its a fine pick for right here, but I shouldnt have been the one to make this pick. I have Edgerrin James, for the love of penis. Eddie George, I think is awesome, but unfortunately, he does not have a fullback. Get this man a fullback. Drunken Stefan just chased Charlie off the table. Not exciting or anything. Just a fun memory for me, Phil, Stefan, and Kris. Phil: Ugh. The ol Eddie G, he aint what he used to be. But hes still one of the better fantasy backs, so this isnt too bad of a pick. Gotta get those backs early. But its not great, either. Joe: Koren Robinson. I think I had him as one of the guys that should get picked soon. He led all receivers last year in the second half, I think. Look for him to put up huge numbers, now that Hasselbeck should be ready to produce for a full year. My only concern is that Darrell Jackson was supposed to have a huge breakout party last year. He didnt, so watch for him to have a mini-breakout this year. I think Jackson and Robinson will be very comparable statistically, at the end of this year. Phil: Yes indeedy. Good little pick here. This is probably about where Id have him. Howards on the ball. Joe: I just love when this kind of thing happens. I know Arun must have been doing cartwheels inside, when Davis fell to him right here. I like Davis, but I dont expect him to return to pre-Spurrier form. I think that he really was on the decline, and that he should put up about 15% less than he did two years ago. By the way, Kris saw our draft results and said that this is the pick of the draft. Phil: Now this is a pick. I was considering taking him earlier this round, and I definitely wouldnt have let him slide past me in the next round. Mr. Davis is a very good back on a team that doesnt exactly have the most feared air attack. Carolina will win with two Ds: Defense and Davis. Way to go, Roonstone. Joe: This pick left weird emotions in me. First of all, I had to pick the best QB on Stefans sheet. This was it. At first I thought it was funny, because he used his 4th pick on a guy with a broken leg. Then I realized that earlier I thought he was going to use his 1st pick for Vick, so I wasnt as happy anymore. I also had in my mind somewhere the sadness that I couldnt have Vick. I still wanted Vick, and had hoped that he would be devalued down to about the 7th round. Id just bench him and then have a possible #1 QB starting about a third of the way through the season. Quite an investment by Mr. Daddy. Phil: If he returns with a vengeance, this pick wont be all that bad. But it cant be a great pick, even if he does. Hes missing nearly half the season, and he was taken in the 4th round? I would have taken him as a backup later, but this is too early. Luckily, things have worked out for Stefan so far with Quincy Carter. Who knew? |
