Pretty good pick here.  The only QB I have higher is Tom Brady.  I didn't know quite where to put Brady.  I thought he was a lot better, but no one seemed to have him ranked high.  That tends to make me stay away, because he was consistently taken in the 70s.  Brady's one of those guys who, every time I see him play his amazing, but must not be amazing all the time, or else everyone would want him.
I feel this was the greatest of my draft accomplishments.  I can't help but think I at least influenced Oleg to take Brees by saying I hoped he would last until my pick.  It was a small victory, though, since this pick isn't as horrible as it could have been.  It's still going into the box-o-losers, because someone like Brees will be available later, but it could possibly pan out.
I always want to ridicule a Jerry Rice pick, but I somehow can't question a guy who picks him.  He's never had a not good season.  Sure, he's slowed down.  He's bound to slow down more someday.  I've thought it would happen for the past two years, but he's still good.  This pick makes up part two of QuDanny's all-geriatric team.  Roony will grab part 3 next round.
Here's my plan: Johnnie Morton usually goes around 80 or 90.  I thought I could slip in an extra good receiver before I got the WR I really wanted.  I don't like the fragility of Glenn, but I like the big play possibility.  In hindsight, I probably should have taken Ed McCaffrey instead.  He's a consistent average-good guy.  Oh well.

Makes the All-Arnold Team, as one of the names Arnold Schwarzenegger should be forced to say in a sound byte before he dies.  Ja, ja...Amani Tooomah.  I'd also like "Charlie Garner" and just for fun, "Chris Weinke" on this team.  Toomer is a good pick.  The addition of Jeremy Shockey can only help not only distract defenses from him, but also build confidence in Kerry Collins.
Phil gets 4 tier points here....and 11 bastard points.  Stealing my diamond-in-the-riamond-in-the-rough.  Morton is a candidate for breakout player of the year, from what I've heard.  He's supposedly both gotten faster and started playing bigger.  I've talked about him so much in my other drafts and even other picks in this draft that I don't have anything else to say.
I'd rather have Mushin Muhammad, Ed McCaffrey, and Keenan McCardell.  It's still a good pick though.  Someone's gotta catch some passes in Chicago.  It will be Marty.  This is the part of the draft reviews I never like...average receivers are being picked from here on out.  Booker isn't a bad third receiver.  From my averages, he is in the very top of the 3rd receivers.
Q-Dan shows up Stefan (according to my rankings).  He goes and grabs someone from the bottom of my 2nd receiver list.  Muhammad is a great 3rd receiver to have.  Could you imagine if there was a Kurt Warner-like story in Carolina?  It wouldn't be too hard for Chris Weinke to be replaced.  If they actually found some new QB who knew how to not be a jackass on the football field, imagine Muhammad's value.
The Jags lost Tony Boselli and Keenan McCardell this summer.  They can't have less of a running game than last year.  All this adds up to trouble for Brunell, in my book.  He's at the top of what's best though, so this pick is good, and at least he's a definite starter.  He's just not in a good position right now.

I didn't want to comment on any of the games in my reviews, but I just have to for Dunn.  His value may have skyrocketed this week, when they used Dunn inside the 5 for two scores.  Funny joke guys.  Now let's see T.J. from here on out, or you will get hate-mail from me for the rest of your life.  Why use Dunn?  He's not faster than Duckett (ok, maybe a little).  If he is, then it's because he is 1/3 Duckett's weight.
I don't like this pick.  McCaffrey, and McCardell will definitely be better, in my opinion.  I also think Galloway could be bigger than Thrash.  I think the Eagles just spread the ball around too evenly to produce any monsters (other than McNabb).  Thrash falls into my average 3rd WR area.  This is Norman's second WR taken.  He could have some problems in the WR area this year.
Oy...not Weinke.  You remember last year after game 1, all the hype he got when he led the Panthers to victory?  He then lost 15 in a row (at least I think he did, but I'm too lazy to check).  I would think he also lost last week and this week too, but I'm not gonna check.  I think I'll be able to live my life just fine with the assumption that Chris Weinke will never win another game in his life.

Winners: Ade, Arun, Joe, Pokey, Phil, Jason, Mike, Howard
