There is only five minutes left until she had to confront with Assam, and what ever plan he had. Yumi knew this is probably a trap, but she cannot stand putting Mina in danger. For once in her life, she will face her problems bravely.

Yumi took the elavator down and excited the apartment. She almost waved at the apartment to say 'goodbye', because she felt that she won't be able to see it again. It was not hard to tell where to go, because not far away, she sees Assam waiting for her. Yumi walked slowly towards the car until she was face to face with Assam.

"Great! You decided to come. I thought I might have needed some extra force!" said Assam with a devilish smile.

"Where's Mina-chan?" asked Yumi remaining calm.

"Get in, I'll bring you to her. Unless you don't trust me?"

"I will! But I still won't trust you!" said Yumi coldy giving Assam a hard glare, and getting into the back seat of the car.

Yumi felt a nudge as the car started to move. The drive didn't take long, soon the car came to a full stop. Yumi looked out the window and saw a cliff. Not before long, she was pushed out of the car by one of Assam's men.

Before she had the time to ask where Mina is, another car came and stopped near them by the cliffside. The door opened, as a girl got pushed out of the car as well. It was Mina. Mina couldn't talk with the cloth in her mouth, but her eyes were calling out for help.

"Mina-chan!" yelled Yumi running towards her. She was stopped by Assam's men before she reached her destination.

"Not so fast. I can guarantee you that she will be able to go home fine. However, you need to agree on getting a shot to weaken your body." said Assam, his eyes fixed on Yumi.

'So this is what they're getting at? Afterall, they will turn me into some experiment, some animal? They...dare?' shouted Yumi in her mind. Her eyes turned red, her hair springing out, and she floated in mid-air. "You bastards!" yelled Yumi as the Tennyo sign on her chest shinned, and her left arm raised high. A blinding light appeared on Yumi's hand, and released killing off almost all of Assam's men except for two. Another blinding light appeared but this time, it was to be aimed for Assam. Assam looked at Yumi with fright and with one thought in mind, he grabbed Mina pointing a gun at her head.

"If you want to kill me. Then your friend and I will die together! Lower yourself at once, and I'll repeat, if you agree to take the shot to weaken yourself, your friend will be fine. Or else-" said Assam now nudging Mina's head with his loaded gun.

"Mina-chan..." whispered Yumi, starting to lower herself little by little, conquered by her emotions.

Assam signaled the remaining men he had with him, and his men neared Yumi one step at a time. A man poked the needle into her flesh, and injected the whole thing. Yumi started to feel quizzy. With the distraction focused on Yumi, Mina elbowed Assam, escaping. Mina ran towards Yumi but before she made it, strong arms were caught around her shoulders and she was pushed down. Assam laughed at how pathetic they were, and began to order his men to pick up Yumi when another screeching of tires sounded near them.

"Let her go Assam!" demanded Tooya coldly on his stolen motorcycle.

"Tooya? You're not suppose to be here." asked Assam dumbly.

"I knew Yumi wasn't acting right. I watched her until she left the apartment and go on your car. You belittle me Assam. You'll never be able to accomplish anything."

"How dare you say that!" yelled Assam with anger, but a thought struck him suddenly, and he said,"On second thought. Youji, Mikaba, take those two to the cliffside."

"Let them go. You know better." said Tooya matter-of-factly.

"You'll see Tooya. You'll see." said Assam signaling Youji to push Mina off the cliff first.

In desperation, Tooya took the risk and kick Youji off the cliff just in time to grab Mina from falling into the black wrath of the sea. However, just when Tooya grabbed Mina, Assam ordered Mikaba to push Yumi. Tooya reacted fast, but didn't except what was next to happen. Mikaba was going to push Yumi, but Assam kicked Mikaba with Yumi.

"Tooya..." echoed Yumi's voice as she plungged into the dark sea with Mikaba.

"Yumi-chan!! No!!" yelled Tooya jumping in after them. Soon Tooya disappeared under the waves.

Mina reacted fast and took her chances. she knocked the gun out of Assam's hand, took it and pointed the gun at him.

"I'll let you go! Don't fire." said Assam nervously taking his attention away from the cliffside, and onto Mina.

Mina continued to point the gun at Assam backing away. She backed away until her feet touched something hard. It was Tooya's motorcycle! Mina got on carefully, keeping a look out at Assam, making sure he didn't move, and rode off.

Mina walked to the cliffside holding her child and a bundle of tulips. She sighed as she looked out, remembering what happened, and how Yumi disappeared under those waves. She don't know why the strange people chased after Yumi, why did Yumi have special powers, but she doesn't mind if she never finds the answer. All she wanted is her friend...her best friend back. Mina's son was playing around with his fingers now, obviously bored. She smiled at him, loving him with all her heart. Mina threw the tulips into the sea, and said aloud, "Rest in peace, Yumi-chan." She turned around to walk to her car when she saw a woman with short hair walking by.

"Yumi-chan? Yumi-chan!! You are alive!" yelled Mina running.

The woman was shocked and answered, "Sorry. You got the wrong person."

"No! You are Yumi-chan. Though you have short hair now, but I will never forget how you looked!" insisted Mina.

"You are a stranger, but to satisfy you, I'll tell you my name. My name is Nanami."

"No no! I don't care if you are Nanami now, but you are Yumi!"

"Leave me alone! I might have been adopted, but that doesn't mean people can come up to me and tell me they are my lost friend, or family, okay?" said Nanami impatiently.

"Gomen. Nanami, so you said you were adopted ,can you please tell me more."

"Why?" asked Nanami, but changing her mind said, "Okay. But you promise to leave me alone afterwards okay?"

"Anything you say."

"I was found near the sea, and my step parents saved me and took me to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctors had me recovered, but I couldn't remember a thing. The police came too, but they couldn't tell who I was, if I didn't even know my own name. They said they will look into it, but no answers came back. So the nice couple adopted me, and loved me just like if I were their own child. That's the end of the story, so can I leave now?"

"Wait! You really can't remember a thing?" asked Mina sadly.

"No I can't. Though..." said Nanami her voice trailing off. "I don't think I should be talking to you at all. I hate people invading in on my life." said Nanami and started to walk off.

"Please. Are you sure? I thought you were coming up with something. Please tell me, it will make me feel so much better!" pleaded Mina squeezing her son's hand tighter.

"I can't believe this is happening to me." said Nanami turning around to look at Mina. "Yes, I do get dreams. I can't put a face on the guy I dreamed of, but I think in the dream...yes...in the dream I called him Tooya..." said Nanami as her mind trailed off.

A strong man stood by a beach, looking out at the crimson sun, and the shivering sea. His red hair swayed in the wind, and his soft lips firm. "I'll be waiting for you," the man would say, a smile forming at the edge of his lips, gazing at the sun, and the calm sea.
