Trend Micro System Cleaner

TrendMicro System Cleaner is a virus removal utility from TrendMicro.

Go to www.antivirus.com and get the latest virus pattern and the utility “sysclean.com” (make a search inside the web if u don't find it...). Create a folder on your plugins directory called “sysclean” and copy the files there. Inside this folder create another one called “files”.

Decompress the virus pattern (usually comes in a .zip) and execute “sysclean.com”. You will see the GUI ready to scan for viruses.

Look now at the folder and u will notice that more files have appeared... :-)

Copy now the files readme.txt, sysclean.exe, vscantm.bin, vsapi32.dll, lpt$vpn.XXX, tsc.bin, tsc.ini and tsc.ptn to the folder “files”. Copy there too the file “sysclean.cmd” (copied from the forum).

Then finish the scanner (or scan if u want). Copy the rest of the files from the forum (they are “sysclean.inf”, “sysclean.htm” and “sysclean_nu2menu.xml” to the plugin/sysclean folder and u are done.

To update it simply download the latest virus pattern to the pligin/sysclean/files folder, or to the ramdisk when using WinPE.
