This is the power supply I used in my Opamp-based Power Amplifier. Transformer is a custom built 35V-0-35V/5A and 20,000uf caps per rail. Diodes are TO-220 types bypassed with 0.1uf Mylar snubbers. Other refinements are not shown in this picture. This is a versatile psu, I even used it for my Leach Amp Low TIM amplifier.
