My Second Theory on Life

Lovely, you're reading my theories. You know what? My Fair Lady, the movie, to me isn't that great of a movie. I mean at the end the woman just goes meekly back to the professor and he treats her like dirt and she's all happy about it. What's with that? I mean I like most of the content, it's really a classic movie and all that. But the ending kinda makes me cringe when I think about it. Why do, in movies, the women are the weak ones and they look to a strong buff guy for help? And then when there is a woman hero, she's dressed in tight leather or whatever? Why can't for once, there be a smart lady who can kick ass and dresses in cargo pants and other baggy clothes? Ok, this isn't really a theory, I kinda blanked on my second theory of life there. But let's get on with the subject. Ok, you look at history, whose taking up the slack of the men and all that stuff? Ok, Don't get me wrong, guys are wonderful people. Half of my friends are guys and one of my best friends is a guy. They're easy to talk to and they don't have that mindset about needing to play games, and they don't usually betray you once you get their respect. It's cool. But hollywood just sees, oh here's the woman we need to get someone hot to play this part and I'm pretty sure that guys have to go through something similar to that in movies too, but guys actually are able to wear stuff that does not show off all their body parts. On the other hand, why does, when a woman does some heroic action, is it such a big issue? If women and men were truly equals in the good old US of A then wouldn't it be treated the same? But nope, instead she gets a bunch of fame and stuff like that. I mean, it's pretty cool and stuff, but I'm sure people are just wondering what's up with this, you know?
