First, the extreme bias and gall of media outlets like the Wisconsin State Journal. The organizer was not "just a mom"; neither were many/most of the bureacrats who showed up; there were probably only about 80,000 of them; and in order to properly call it a march, they would have had to actually MARCH. It is insulting to hear cute, glowing lies and deceptions parroted by newspapers like yours. You seem intent on shredding and burning what tattered scraps still remain of the Bill of Rights (which includes, I'm told, some Second Amendment thing).
Second, I'd like to remind everyone that "gun control" is a fairy tale. It goes like this:
"Your guns are 'too big' ('assault weapons'); your guns are 'too small' (handguns). Your ammo penetrates 'too much' (armor piercing ammo); your ammo penetrates 'too little' ('hyperdestructive' hollow point ammo). Your guns are 'too inaccurate' ('Saturday Night Specials'); your guns are 'too accurate' (scoped hunting rifles or 'sniper rifles')..."
Now in this fairy tale, which guns are just right? The ones ultimately controlled by two people I'd rather not mention: Bill and Hillary Clinton. Now who would you say is more trustworthy: Bill and Hillary Clinton, or almost anyone else on the planet? Exactly. Take their guns, not ours.
It's time to end this demented fairy tale. How? By leaving the Republicans and supporting the Libertarians instead. It makes no sense to do the same thing over and over and over when it fails year after year. The Republicans have failed convincingly. It's time to save Gun Rights, and thus Bill of Rights, and thus the country. Let's do it.
Version 2
The recent "Million Mom March" brought to light some important aspects of the fight to restore Gun Rights, and thus the Bill of Rights.
First, the extreme bias and gall of media outlets like the Wisconsin State Journal. The organizer was not "just a mom"; neither were many/most of the bureacrats who showed up; there were probably only about 80,000 of them; and in order to properly call it a march, they would have had to actually MARCH. It is insulting to hear cute, glowing lies and deceptions parroted by media like you.
In this fairy tale, which guns are just right? The government's. Now who would you say is more trustworthy: Bill and Hillary Clinton, or almost anyone else on the planet? Exactly. Take Bill's guns, not ours.
What about the poor dead children? Guns save lives. We Libertarians have told you this for years. There is no ambiguity in the data. The more guns, the better. If normal students were allowed in school to exercise their inalienable, natural, and Constitutional right to carry weapons, guns would be saving their lives too. So get over yourselves and get out of the way. The Bill of Rights is coming through.
