The Book of Mormon is a true account of an ancient people that lived in America. They learned through direct experience that God does exist. The book tells of God's mercy and love for these people, and explains many great and eternal truths that they learned. You can get a free Book of Mormon here. Read it, and determine for yourself if it is true or false. I deeply belive it to be true. By following the teachings in it, you will find joy and salvation.
I have for sale a loose-leaf version of the Book of Mormon. It has several advantages over the standard format:
1) Thicker, heavier paper, for durability and marking passages.
2) Large margins -- 1 3/8" on both sides, approximately 1" top and bottom. Useful for notes, etc.
3) Individual pages are easily removed and copied due to the true loose-leaf format. This can be helpful for Sunday School lessons, missionary work, and intensive study projects.
4) Food spills, rips, over-marking, and water damage, are easily repaired at almost no cost by replacing the page in question, rather than having to start over with a whole new book.
5) It has become popular to glue quotations of prophets and other inspirational or supplemental material in one's scriptures. However, what if you change your mind? The paper will forever be there, sticking up like a cow-lick whenever you attempt to read the pages where you inserted it. Irritating! Distracting! With this loose-leaf format, simply insert the page with the quote, or even whole general conference talks, in the desired location. No more are your scriptures a messy and haphazard scrapbook.
6) This format opens many fun possibilities to personalize your scriptures. For example, make them illustrated (insert a picture of the tree of life at 1 Nephi 8, Ammon defending the flocks at Alma 17, etc.). Put your own study guides and helps at the end. Add a concordance or a hypothetical Book of Mormon gazateer. All of this can be seamlessly integrated into the book in a satisfying way.
