LOBSTAH!
In August of 1994, I left IRI for a career sabbatical.  Right after I left, I decided to take a trip I had long wanted to make, to Maine (specifically Acadia National Park) and Nova Scotia.  I traveled alone but spent time visiting some former neighbors in Poughkeepsie on the way out and also stayed with some friends in Auburn, Maine (I have since lost touch with them).  From Poughkeepsie, I traveled through New England to Auburn, from which I made several side trips.  Then on to Bar Harbor and over to Nova Scotia via ferry.  On Nova Scotia, I traveled around most of the periphery of the peninsula, including Halifax, as well as to Cape Breton Island.  On the way back, I also toured the Roosevelt Cottage at Campobello Island.
