However, my prospective changed when my mother got sick and passed away. My mother's illness not only made me realize it was not worthy dying for your job, but also made me realize how important it was to take care of your body and to understand how the insurance industry worked.
When my mother first got sick, she was treated in the "Intensive Care" unit and her medical bills were covered under her insurance. However, she was no longer covered by her policy when her status changed from "Intensive Care" to "Skilled Nursing". As a result, the medical expenses just kept growing and her bill was over $100,000. Fortunately, she was poor enough to qualify for charity so that the charity took care of her medical bills.
My question to you at this point is: How good is your "Medical Insurance Coverage"? Will your policy fail you if you are under specific classifications such as "Skilled Nursing"? Will you have the money to pay your medical bills if your policy would not pay?
While my mother was in the hospital, she suffered a lot. Most of the time she suffered severe pain; yet, it took at least 30 minutes for the nurse to give her pain injection. Also, my mother's condition was so bad that she required a lot of I.V. and medicine injections. As a result, her veins on her arm gave out. At the end, the nurse had to put the needle through her finger. Imagine an I.V. needle going through your finger. Another frustrating thing was dealing with the doctors. There were so many specialists supposedly taking care of my mom; yet, they could not get together at times so that my mother could receive proper care.
Is this the kind of condition that you want to suffer while you are sick? Isn't it time to take care of yourself first so that hospital is your last option?
While taking care of my mother, I was also working full time. As a result, I could feel the drag on my body. After my mother passed away, my work condition did not change much. My workload kept increasing, and I was either working or on call 24/7. In a sense, I was only making about $4.5 an hour!!! That's below minimum wage. Also, my health continued to suffer. So I thought, what would happen if I died on my job? Well, people might miss me for a couple of days. However, I was replaceable. Someone would take over my position and life went on. Since I did not own the company, was it worthy give my life to?
Are you worth dying for your job if you do NOT own it?
In addition, I had no personal life because of my work schedule. Fortunately, I was "Single"; otherwise, I surely would have had a divorce.
After I quit my engineering job, I took a year off and did volunteer work. It was a very pleasant experience because I got to help changing someone's life.
After my volunteering, I worked in the Retail sector. I loved the job because it was structured. I had personal time. When I went home, I went home and there was nothing to worry about. However, the pay was horrible. You really had no control over on how many hours you could work for one company. If you wanted to make more money, you had to work multiple jobs.
So, here was my dilemma: One job paid good on paper but gave me no personal time; the other paid little but allowed me to have personal time. Was there anything out that was better?
Not long ago, I was introduced into this Wellness Networking business. I saw the "Light". I knew this was and is for me because it will give me the FREEDOM that I have been looking for. In addition, I get to work with interdepdenent people; I and my partners will achieve greater successes. Together, we will earn through our efforts and our income earning potential becomes UNLIMITED; we will have EXTRA personal time; we will have the OPPORTUNITY to make our bodies healthy, and we are all building LEGACY for our future families. Thus, we can truly enjoy our lives and get the BALANCE that we have been searching for. Therefore, this is just the "Ideal" business for me.

This is my story.
How about you? Do you have a story to tell? Do you have a reason in doing what I am doing? Do you want your OWN FREEDOM?
