Honor Bright's body was dumped at the crossroads of Ballinteer Road and Ticknock Road, on the right-hand side of Ticknock Road south of the cross.info Ballinteer Road (heading south from Dublin) used to wind steeply up into the Dublin/Wicklow mountain range, where it intersected Ticknock, Blackglen, and Harolds Grange Roads about a half mile west of Lamb Doyle's pub.info Ticknock Road continues south to the village of Ticknock farther up in the mountains.

In 2000-2001 this whole area was blasted away for the M50 motorway. Ticknock Road itself was diverted somewhat east, and Ballinteer Road now ends at the M50 roundabout.info

The original crossroads was about 20 feet above the electronic sign sitting on the M50 in this picture, which was taken from the new roundabout looking southwest.

Hidden behind a wall of the roundabout beside the terminus of the #16 bus, you can still find a very short section of the old Ballinteer Road (shown in the above photo looking south from the roundabout towards the bus stop). It is blocked off at both ends, and weeds are overrunning the stone side walls and road edges.
