| This is Smudge, the dog who we adopted in April of 2002. She was about 1 1/2 years old, and we THINK she was either an Akita mix or a Husky mix, the other part of her heritage being Border Collie. She was turned over to the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago on August 8, 2002, because 1) we had one too many animals in our apartment and 2) the vet has given us instructions t oremove ALL stress factors from his environment, and Smudge was a MAJOR stress factor for him! I've since heard that she was given to a very nice family from the suburbs, and I hope she will be as happy with them as she was with us! She was loved and she will be missed! |
