This is a view of the completed zealous showing her starboard side.All of her guns are rolled out to the firing position. Since I enjoy the play of colour of natural wood, I have not painted the hull. All of the cannons are turned of solid brass . There are 4 different sizes to represent 36 , 24 , 18 , and 9 pounder cannon and 2 68 pound carronades. |

Lord Hood and his brother Lord Bridport would have been familiar with Zealous .She was part of Lord Hoods Mediterranean Squadron under Captain Samuel Hood, his cousin. Bridport would have been familiar with her as part of his channel fleet. |
