Left...Lucy, age thirteen, pointing quail in the hills near our home.
Right...Mitzy, put down this fall (07) at age fourteen, an excellent bird dog. She loved to hunt chukars, and chase rabbits for exercise during the off season.
Left...Mitzy has a pheasant ahead of her in thick alfalfa.
Right...My son John, and good friend Sam, on a stormy day hunting pheasants in California's Central Valley.
The great Southwest (California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico). Always kind to me... and without a doubt, the best place I've ever lived.
Kate who lived to age fifteen. A super hunter and companion.
Left...Alaska in June. The best month to be in Alaska
Right...Sarah, a fine hunter and house pet. Gone now, but not forgotten!
