(5:30am) Up and off to the beach before Sunrise. Warm, clear morning with great view of big red ball emerging from the ocean. Dead batteries in camera.

(7:30) Remove tape and clean glue from yesterday's work. I had laid 25 rows, not 20.

(9am) Begin laying more flooring. Cut bottoms of jambs at dining room/ kitchen entry. Spread glue and place new work. The flooring lines up perfectly from the kitchen to the living room. Using up the remaining glue in my second 3.5 gallon can, I now have 3 runs spanning all the way across living / dining room.

(1:30pm) Tape down  new work and clean glue from hands and tools.

(2pm) On the beach... Yesssss!

(4pm) Beach gets windy. I get sand blasted/ coated and chase hat down beach.

(5pm) Return here for shower and change of clothes.

(6pm) Go for ride. Head for Myrtle Beach, but traffic is bad and I turn around and head back this way. Driving through Murrel's Inlet I find all the restaurants crowded with holiday travelers.

(8pm) I settle for pizza at Litchfield's Billadonna Pizzeria. Pretty tasty!

(9pm) Return here and chat with Honey on phone. She got us a new lawnmower.

(10pm) Fresh strawberries over vanilla ice cream.

(11pm) Fall asleep in truck, listening to radio...
