(7:50am) After staying up late and stargazing with "P," I was up before six am and off the the beach. The weather front continues to hang in the area and winds are still gusting from the Northeast. Skies were partly cloudy, so the Sunrise was nice. Now it is mostly clear and promises a sunny day ahead, however "J" is en route to rent a wet saw for cutting the edge tiles for our flooring project, so no early release from duties until the tiles are cut!

"J' arrived with the wet saw around 8:30 and I began cutting the tiles. The Carolina Room was laid out so that most tiles only had to be cut in half to fit and each cut yielded 2 edges tiles. That room went smoothly and it was on to the laundry next. I cut the square edges pieces first for that room, then began working on special cuts to fit around the closet door frame and the angled entry into the kitchen. These cuts took longest, but I was done with the saw, had it cleaned and loaded in the "PT" before noon! "J" was happy that he would only have to pay for a half day's rent. The wet saw kicked up quite a spray which deposited a white mist over the deck area and myself. A shower from the water hose rinsed it off and felt quite good the the midday Sun. SUN - THE SUN'S OUT AND I MUST GET TO THE BEACH!!!

"J" was off to return the saw and make a stop at Lowes, while "P" was on her way to her stamp meeting, so I played hooky and headed to the beach. Not a cloud in the sky and a nice breeze to keep you cool. I spent three hours tanning and enjoying classic rock on my radio. High tide was at 4pm, so I knew it was time to head back and get ready for dinner. "P," "J," and myself had Mexican at Habanaros. It was yummy, but afterwards I hit the beach and tried to walk it off. Didn't work and I'm feeling tired and sleepy. (8:30pm)
