5/31/00 - Leesport, Pa PCW John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Ty Street: Balsamo was able to out run Ty in many parts of the match but there were many times where Ty overpower John with his size. Soon the Haas brothers and Danny Rose came to ringside and tripped Balsamo when the referee was distracted by Al Getz. Ty put Balsamo in his finishing move but was soon attacked by the Haas Brothers and Danny Rose. Balsamo won by pinfall after Danny Rose placed John on top of the dazed Ty. Pictures More Pictures

5/12/00 - Hamburg, Pa PCW John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Doomsday Danny Rose w/ Al Getz (Return Match): Balsamo used his speed early in the match to control his larger opponent. Danny ran to his manager and when Balsamo turned his back he attacked him from behind. After a series of power moves, Danny attempted to suplex Balsamo from the top rope but John reversed it to a acid drop ddt. When Balsamo climbed up the ropes Al Getz shook the ropes so Balsamo took a low blow on the top turnbuckle. Danny took advantage of the situation and exicuted his superplex then his Death Valley Driver finisher for the pin.

4/26/00 - Leesport, Pa PCW John "The Paisano" Balsamo vs. Doomsday Danny Rose w/ Al Getz: Danny took over early in the match by giving balsamo a knee to the midsection from the lockup. After a series of moves, Balsamo reversed a whip to the corner and gave Danny a Monkey flip. Balsamo came close to victory after giving Rose a high cross body from the top rope. Doomsday's manager Al Getz Distracted Balsamo by grabing his leg. When Balsamo turned around to the recovered Danny Rose, Danny picked him up and hit his Death Valley Driver finish for the pin. Balsamo slipped off the top rope and took a low blow and fell to the outside of the ring. The Spazman took advantage of this opportunity and climbed to the top rope for the win.

Balsamo knocked flex off Fumar and went to the top rope. When Flex got up and turned around, Balsamo caught him in the Thez Press and pulled his tights to get the win.

1/18/00 - Hagerstown, MD HoPWF/ NWL John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Tate Griffen {Tate's Birthday} (Special Stupulation - Must "Hog Tie" Opponent to Win NWL Cruiserweight Title Match ): Balsamo started off the match by slamming Tate twice by pulling his hair back. When Balsamo tried to pull Tate's hair a third time, Tate reversed it and pulled John's. Tate then gave John two hip tosses and a body slam. Balsamo ran from the ring but was soon suplexed back into the ring by Tate. Tate began exicuting some brutal moves on Balsamo. Tate tied John's hand together and went to the top rope. Balsamo caught Tate with the rope across his neck when he jumped. Balsamo then snap mared him over and began choking the challenger with the rope. The champ then tossed Tate over the top rope and hung Tate like he was hanging from a noose. Balsamo then pulled him in the ring and applied various holds with the rope. Tate used the rope to regain the upper hand on Balsamo. Balsamo became fustrated and used a foreign object to knock out Tate Griffen. Balsamo proceeded to sing "Happy Birthday...you lost" to While he hog tied Tate to get the win at 10:57. John Balsamo retained the NWL cruiserweight title.

1/12/00 - Hagerstown, MD HoPWF/ NWL John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Jake "The Machine" Davis: Jake outmaneuvered Balsamo until Balsamo tossed Davis through the ropes. Balsamo had the DJ play some music and he danced the "Doc Polka" for a few minutes. John began beating up Jake when he came back in the ring. Jake soon took control of the match and knocked out Balsamo with a flying headbutt from the top rope. Keizer distracted referee Mike DiMuzio while the Loonatick and MoD spike piledrived Jake Davis, Dan then put the unconscious Balsamo on Jake to get the pin at 9:38.

1/08/00 - Kyser, WV NWL John Balsamo (NWL Cruiserweight Champion) vs. Hyjinx [NWL Cruiserweight Title match]: Hyjinx had an early advantage in the match so Balsamo ran from the ring only to get suplexed back in. Balsamo reversed Hyjinx's nipple twist by clapping his ears and giving him a closeline. Balsamo controlled the match until he missed a cross body tackle from the top rope. While Kurt Keizer distracted the referee, "The Loonatick" Dan Kallis and Master of Disaster interfered in the match giving John Balsamo the pin on Hyjinx at 8:01. John Balsamo retained the NWL cruiserweight title.

1/04/00 - Hagerstown, MD HoPWF/ NWL John Balsamo vs. Hyjinx vs. OGB [Triple threat final of NWL Cruiserweight Tournament]: Hyjinx and OGB double teamed Balsamo in the beginning of the match and Balsamo ran out of the ring. After OGB and Hyjinx battled back and forth for a while Balsamo came in and sneak attacked both wrestlers from behind. John Balsamo got the pin on OGB at 11:39 after Kurt Keizer, the Loonatick Dan Kallis, Jerkface and Master of Disaster interfered in the match. Keizer distracted the referee while The Loonatick, MoD, and Jerkface attacked OGB and Hyjinx. OGB got caught with a "spike piledriver" and Balsamo made the cover for the pin. John Balsamo is the new NWL cruiserweight champion.
