The Secret of Nature – A Brief Summary

Birth and evolution of science has fallowed certain peculiar path

1] Science began its birth and evolution by isolating mind from matter. It set out to conquer the material world by splitting it. His aim was to predict nature.

2] At the base of all great developments in science there are certain assumption which is beyond our common sense or is not practical.

3] These assumption are generally made such that a chosen mathematical tool could be applied to the phenomenon.

4] Science develops a constant [In a constantly changing world] such that he can repeat and predict the phenomena.

4] When science considers a part for study it overlooks its relationship with other parts – This is a vital error

The First Great Development in Science: This is related to Galileo and Newton. Galileo rolled a ball on two slanted planks as shown in the figure. He kept the slope of one of the plank constant and went on decreasing the slope of the other. The ball rolled down on the plank kept constant, travailed farther and farther when the slope was decreased. This argued was because of decreased friction. Then he went ahead to assume that when there is no friction the ball would travel in a straight line forever.

The second great contribution was the argument he put forth that free fall acceleration in the gravitational field is the same for all bodies in the absence of friction. The instruments that were necessary for conducting the experiment and the prediction were Time and Distance [Space]. These wee considered absolute, that is fixed or non-changing.

Following it Newton developed his three laws of Motion and his law of Universal Gravitation. In the first law he assumed a constant to work on. It was based on the Galileo's work. It stated that all systems in nature move in a straight line in constant manner unless external force is applied. In the second law he introduced a strange term called mass. Here he assumed that mass is the weight in the absence of Gravity. He went on to say that all objects attract each other by virtue of this property and this attraction is dependent on the distance between the two objects. In the third law he stated that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

What this meant was that a big body attracts a small body in its vicinity in proportion to its mass. The small body too attracts the big body in proportion to its Mass. In deriving the Law of Gravitation he showed that the distance between the two bodies is increased the attractive property decreases and at certain specific distance the action of the small on the big body reaches a zero. Here it tends to move in a straight line but the attraction of the big body pulls it towards it center thus producing a curved motion of the planets.

Points to ponder:

1] Can we ever imagine a situation, that is without friction?

2] Can we ever imagine a situation where gravity does not exist?

3] Newton’s theory of gravitation means the big body is under the influence of another big body around which it is rotating. When extended it means there should exist one body in the universe that contains more than half of the mass of the universe? The first law of motion should at least be applicable to this body! Which is this body?

4] Student of science should note that it was not explained why free-fall acceleration is the same for all bodies and what causes the gravitation? These questions wee left for the future generation.

5] It is interesting to note that while deducing gravitational theory Newton said that at a point a straight line smoothens into curve. This is atypical case where science tells that as the donkey grows smaller and smaller it turns into a monkey or vive versa! What Newton did was to de-magnify a big error such that it went out of our perception of mankind who was blinded by quest to conquer nature. See fig –1 we note here that a circle can be covered by three straight lines. Suppose we multiply the number 3 repeatedly we end up in smaller and smaller units. But each unit has the same relation ship. The distance AB can never equal distance ACB of a curve

Downfall of Newton and the Second Great Development in Science

Newton’s law initiated the mechanical worldview that lasted for more than three centuries. However, Mechanistic View started cracking up when the field theory and Electro magnetic phenomenons were discovered. In Newtonian worldview a positive charge exerts force on negative charge by virtue of its mass and this force is instantaneous. But the founders of field theory Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell proposed that charge have a field around it. A change of this field in space produces a force. This force however is transmitted in time to other body. In other words it wiped out the existence of instantaneous communication.

Einstein came to the picture at this juncture introducing his relativity theory. He, from the premises of new developments, developed a new vision and very craftily introduced it. Newton had assumed a fundamental base in the first law – that is all bodies move in a straight line steadily and uniformly unless an external force is applied. In other words Newton assumed a minimum uniform motion as a base his mathematical interpretation of motion. Einstein took the other end he assumed a maximum platform. It was simply a reorientation of Newton’s thinking. See fig-2.

It is very clear that the curve ‘ACB’ is bigger than the straight-line path ‘AB’ in the first case. In the second case it is straight line path is bigger than the curve ‘ACB’. The relation ship between the two systems one revolving around the other is described by the law of gravitation of Newton. Any addition of force on the revolving system increases stress on the curvature and after some point the system would lead to the maximum. The same could be explained from different a figure that is an extension of Galileo’s experiment that led to the fist law of Newton. See fig- 4

The ball in the new situation will travel further and further as the curvature was increased. But it does not mean that the curvature of the path disappears. The ball would come back to the point “I” from where it started its journey. Thus Einstein rightly concluded that speed of light is the maximum speed and it is not attainable. In order to account the new platform Einstein introduced new notion of space-time scale; space-time that are linked into one. This meant there is no universal flow of time and that is time is not linear nor it is absolute. According to him two observers traveling at different speed will record different time for the event. For the first time since the beginning of science the observer became integral part of the experiment. Einstein thus put life into the experiment. According to Einstein in certain condition two observers can even see two events in reverse time. Another important contribution of Einstein is oneness of energy and matter. In other words matter is some form of crystallized or wound up energy. Later he extended his relativity theory to include the problem of gravitation. This is inverse extension of the same thinking except that the ball now is outside the path. See fig-5. The weight of the ball and the mass now causes a depression in the path.

At a time when field and electromagnetic theory was consolidating itself, Max Planck discovered that energy of heat radiation was not emitted continuously but was emitted in a discreet particle. He called them ‘Quanta’ Einstein extended this concept to show that all electromagnetic radiation is emitted in quantum manner. Scientist now failed to conceive how particle and wave can co exists. Thus arose an important paradox of science. Neils Bohr at this stage introduced the complementary Principle to explain it. He considered particle and wave pictures are two complementary description of the same reality. Each of them is partly correct and has limited range of application.

Points to Ponder.

Einstein worked from the premises of new facts emerging on the scene. He simply developed a new vision of nature. By adopting a new instrument and a new language. [Riemen’s Geometry when compared to Euclidean Geometry of Newton]. Einstein’s work showed the independent and yet dependent sate of the systems in nature. Newton’s work was basically involved the interaction of isolated systems. Einstein’s work clearly showed that we couldn’t look at nature as an independent entity. Much depends on the state of the observer and his motion. It means life and its motion has a say in the picture he records. A living system is in a constant motion both externally and internally. Einstein was referring only to the external motion. In one sense he laid the path to the unification of mind and matter. A fact of importance of Einstein’s work was the relativity between the observed and the observer. Einstein’s general theory found a mathematical way to predict motion of an object ‘A’ in relation to another object ‘B’ that is also moving. This meant that it wiped out the need for a system at rest to predict motion or in a uniform motion.

In all these developments we must note that the nature was being twisted to fit into a particular language. The predictably became the only one criteria for a successful theory. Many fundamental questions thus remained unanswered. For example the question what is a charge? What is field? How magnetic and charge field co exist and what its it’s origin? What is light how is it different from matter? Why speed of light is the maximum speed? Why light is independent of the observer? How mass increases with speed? Does gravity increases or decreases when mass increases? According to Newton Gravity increases as the mass increases and mass has an attractive property. Our common sense tells us that speeding vehicle increasingly looses its grip. This is in contradiction to fundamental assumption of Newton. Since mass is attractive in nature a speeding vehicle should attract each other in an increasing manner – The concept of mass looses its ground here.

Einstein theory when extended back in time leads us to origin in a point. It is humanly impossible to conceive that all the matter in the universe is condensing into point. Such a condensation is possible under gravity directed to a point. Gravity is a centripetal force once this condensation takes place then it is reaching the dead end to which it is aimed and it looses the cause for origin. Further the theory of prediction should fail here, because a point cannot be defined without a relation to another point. Third Great step in the Evolution of Science

During this period Werner Heinsenberg, a student of Bohr, introduced the uncertainty principle. He proved that at subatomic level one couldn’t predict the motion of a particle very accurately. This caused a great blow to the foundation of classical physics and the foundation of Einstein’s work. The paradox of wave particle duality and the Uncertainty Theory was a great transition period in the history of science. Acknowledged scientist of that time, Max Plank, Albert Einstein, Neils Bohr, Erwin Schrodinger, Wolfgang Pauli, Werner Heisenberg, Louis De Broglie and Paul Dirac joined at Copenhagen and concluded that wave particle paradox is essential aspect of subatomic particle. They then proceeded to adopt statistical language and developed a consistent mathematical formulation for a new theory called as Quantum Mechanics. Einstein by developing the Quantum Theory of light actually laid the foundation to Quantum Mechanics, but he strongly opposed the introduction of chance in describing the phenomenon of nature. His reaction to the development of new science is well expressed in his angry out burst at Copenhagen – “ God does not play dice”

Much of his last years Einstein worked to find a Unified Theory. During this period he tried to introduce Anti-gravity force into science but quickly retreated from the path. The subsequent developments in science has led to experiments which clearly states that some how mind and consciousness is related to the experiment and the whole truth of nature cannot be understood in isolation of mind, matter and consciousness. With this science bifurcated into two paths, which has failed to join.

Points to ponder

1] Scientist joined hands to develop a new tool and new language predict and exploit nature not to understand nature.

2] It failed to explain why wave particle duality and why uncertainty exists.

3] Even to day when the mother earth is quaking, erupting, flooding and burning, in an ever-increasing manner science has not stopped to look at their actions.

Let us now see in a simple way why this conflict came up.

Fig –6 and 7 further explains the Einstein’s relativity theory and the quantum nature in a simple manner. As we add force or increase the speed the length by time ratio increases on the left but then it is accompanied same magnitude of decrease in the right part. As it reaches a certain critical value of 3:1 the force breaks down and makes a jump to the next path. This next path could be of increased radius or decreased radius depending on the direction of the external force. [The correct visualization is to imagine it as a winding and unwinding process]

The quantum nature of action and reaction is well explained in the Fig.- 8. Suppose we take a system with 6cms radius and another with 5cms they are stable. If we take system with 6cms and 4cms they are still stable. However if we take two systems one with 6cms and the other with 3cms then they are unstable or have reached a critical limit. When we take a system with 6cms the other of 2, the ratio turns a critical state of 3:1 and the bigger body sucks up the smaller body. Considering the first law of thermodynamics the ratio change can be written as 5: 7, 4:8, 3:9. This means it actually is a three-step process. What this means is that, the quantum jump is preceded by certain changes in the ratio of the two interacting system. It means the action we witness is preceded by certain action and reaction within the system. In other words it has internal hidden path in which it has to travel before the external action is witnessed. The best way to imagine it as a winding and unwinding force acting beyond certain critical state depending on the direction of the force. The problem of uncertainty comes up when we reach limits of winding and unwinding of a system. Every system has two limits the upper and the lower. The moment we unwind an atom to its limit then we are entering into internal field, where we encounter not ordinary 3dimensional space but the six dimensional spaces. 3 to the left and thee to the right. When we try to locate the system accurately on the left the right part will obliterate. This is apparent from the figure—6 and 7. When we stretch the path “A” it is accompanied by the contraction of the path “D”. An equal and opposite change takes place on the other side. However the investigator at any moment of time can exist only on one side. As he concentrates the energy on the path “A”, he depletes the energy of the path “D”. This is accompanied by an opposite change on the other side.

It means our attempt to understand nature and the whole by the experimental and mathematical tool will never take us to the understanding of the whole. The very advancement of science has led us to this point. Many of the implication of quantum science have clearly shows that Mind and consciousness cannot be separated from the study of the matter. This brings the cycle of scientific evolution to back to the point one.

It is important that we recall another important development in sconce that is non - linear physics. The physics we so far dealt with is basically linear one where every action has equal and opposite reaction. Little action results in little reaction. But in non-linear physics the scenario is entirely different. Its foundation is based on the concept of irreversible spontaneous reactions and the thermodynamics aspect of it. Here a small action results in huge reaction. Here a system accumulates the actions and when the force of action reaches certain critical limit the whole system breaks down and reorganizes into a new order around a Great Attractor, which emerges out of the disorder. The re-linking of mind matter brought science back to its beginning point. Science now found itself without any base to stand upon. They started seeing Gods! Thus began the New-age, where scientist dropped their coat and started tracking the age old philosophies both religious and other wise, in an attempt to develop a new foundation for the parts they discovered over the past several centuries. Many acknowledged physicists started seeking truth in Vedas, Taoism, Zen, and Buddhism. New-age books started flooding the bookstalls; age-old cultural, medical practices built on sense experiences started reviving.

In the New – age scientist attention were turned from the physical world to the biological world. Scientist are trying to develop a new foundation based on the biological system Dr. David Bohm pointed to the holographic view of the universe as a possible path to understand nature. The hologram concept states that every piece is exact replica of the whole and can be used to construct the entire hologram. Every student of biology knows that every cell contains information of the complete organism. Scientist has accumulated evidence to say that brains deep structure s is essentially holographic. Temporal and spatial frequencies demonstrate that brains structures sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch holographic ally. Dr. Karl Pribram extended the holographic model to describe not only the brain but also the universe as a whole. The present vision that science has about the world is Chaotic one. They are absolutely lost in the complexity of the parts they discovered. Most of the concept on which science grew has turned to be hard nut to crack. No well-defined sensible meaning could be attributed to them. The question arises is nature really so complex or was it our approach that made it look complex. Stephen Hawking in his book “Brief History of Time” clearly states that the new science to which the world would dawn would be simple and understandable to even to a common man.

Is there a way to understand nature and its oneness in a simple manner? To answer this question we must go back to the Father of science and his first argument [Fig-1]

The Grand Unification – A path back to Old and Union with God

To discover the new science, let us ask where was the ball before the Father of science chose to do the experiment? The answer is that it was with him at the “I” point. Where was the Father and the ball was situated when he conducted the experiment. The answer is that at a distance from the center from where he cannot see the other side. In other words the Father and the ball was living in a duel world. The next important question where is the natural position of the Father and the ball. The answer is the singularity at the center. How can we have the complete picture? The answer is by moving to the center. How do we move to the center? The answer is by observing our action and what reaction is produced to the action we do. - That takes us back to the Eastern Philosophy that forms the core of religious practice of the world.

Now comes a great question, Who created the [expansion] duality? The answer is the Father the creator. Why did he do it? The answer is that the singularity stressed him to the minimum limit. Now who created the singularity? The answer is again the Father. The question now is why? The answer is that duality reached a maximum and stressed him to react. That gives a simple cyclic existence of nature around a creator system, which survives.

We are living in duel world that has reached the boundary or the maximum limit. Our earth is, shaking, erupting, flooding, and burning under the impact of mankind’s action out of ignorance of the whole and the oneness. It is time that the Father reacts from the center. How does he react? The answer is that He emerges in the horizon as a “Great Attractor” revealing his Secret to Mankind.

Who is this father? He is the living soul at the center who can see the whole and controls the whole. All other living forms come from him and go back to him. Who created him? The answer he was neither created nor destroyed. He is self-created and self destroyed. He created himself [expansion force] by accepting death willingly or sacrificing the “I” factor. He initiates the contraction willingly by expressing his “I” these two acts are necessitated by the ignorant action of all the souls that form to the left or the right of him. The individuated principles or souls on the left and right keep fighting out of ignorance. As ignorance peaks and the universe is endangered He intervenes and takes charge. In the end He reveals his image and the true knowledge to mankind and takes control of his body, which is deteriorating and gives new life to it. In short intelligence of mankind is controlled and directed by super soul and super brain. It is directed at knowing him and not knowing him.

I must call your attention to the fact that the knowledge that existed before science came to existence has its origin in inward search. This included the material world of which he is a part. The teachers of Eastern philosophies always leads his student in the path of discovering “I” factor and its relationship with the outer world. In other words teacher moves the student to the center. The actual unification and crossing over is left to him.

It is time that we review Veda’s and Bible and other great religious philosophies and understands its truth. The Bible is the culminating truth described in the Veda’s. We the mankind driven and imprisoned by our own self and groupism failed to understand the significance and Unification. A man, who has read Bhagavad-Gita, Bible and Quran without any attachment, would find that the substance of the three is same. At greater depth all religious philosophies speak of love and peace – It defends Truth and Justice.
