There is two basic
thinking, which explains the origin. Both are incomplete and does not appeal to
our common sense
The first is
Big-bang Theory, which was developed out of Einstein’s General Theory of
Relativity. This theory when extended in time takes us
back to a point to which all the matter gets condensed and from which it
explodes into an expansive state. This theory however does not explain the
cause for the great collapse and the new origin. Quantum mechanical thinking
forbids prediction in a point. Further one cannot define a point unless it
exists in relation to another point.
Gravity we know is
centripetal force. When all system falls into a point it is reaching a dead end
to which it is directed. Here we loose the cause for origin. One can find here the reason as to why Einstein tried to
introduce the concept of Anti-gravity. May be this great intellectual
was aware of the implication of extension of his theory? To develop a
meaningful picture of the universe, and to make his theory complete he
introduced antigravity as an opposing force that could help build stable
picture of universe. I don’t know why Einstein decided to retreat the concept
he introduced. May be the idea never took a strong base for him to work on, May
be he felt it would contradict his theory? May be he was
avoiding another “Copenhagen” where he would fail to defend?
A second
picture of the Origin of the Universe emerges from non-linear physics.
Here it is visualized that the universe originated from a still state of matter
and field. A small perturbation originated in this state and it multiplied in a
linear manner spread out and eventually turned in to apparently chaotic state
giving rise to various systems that we witness in nature. But it does not
explain how the still state was reached and what caused the initial
perturbation and so on.
An
important thing, which is common to both thinking, is an ill-defined action at
a point that evolves in time. No body knows where the evolution ends? What
causes the end? And how the rebirth occurs and so on.
[These aspect are well explained in age old knowledge written down in Vedas,
Bhagavad-Gita, Bible and such scriptures. But the a mind which is conditioned
by science can never understand it.]
There is another reference in science to origin in a point and evolution. This relates to life. Life is understood to have originated from one celled organism. It has evolved into a complex system called mankind who today is trying to conquer nature.
Science it self has
discovered two distinct and opposing path of evolution to these two systems
[matter and life]. The second law of thermodynamics applied to the life and
matter shows this opposite tendency.
Science fails to explain what is life? A life is built
with matter; it takes matter from the environment, assimilates matter and gives
out matter to the environment thus creating a flux. Life grows multiplies
evolves and there by survives in nature. An important point one should note
here is that life is central in position and matter covers it. Life basically
is anti-gravitational and instinctively works to expand and is against the
gravitational force. This invariably means the nature is so constituted that
the opposing force some how balances nature.
An importance question here is that – Does it mean nature neither had a
beginning and nor an end? Technically I
agree with the age-old philosophies, which state that it neither had a
beginning nor an end. There is
evolution but it is directionless. It evolves both at the maximum and minimum.
But any body looking at nature can never deny the existence some form of
evolution. This evolution is related to the time or rate of flow in the whole
system, which directed to the maximum and then returns to the minimum. There
are two phases for the flow; when the expanding phase reaches a maximum it
gives way for the contracting phase and vice-versa. There is an accelerated phase for expansion and contraction. Every
flow should have a leading point. The secret of nature and he so called origin
exist in this leading point.
Flow we
know is created by life. Without life nature would be dead. Now is not sensible
to locate the Big Bang point or that small initial perturbation in a living
cell or even still back to a point inside a cell, which holds the
characteristic of life? In such a case the universal
evolution gets directly related to the evolution of living system and the
intelligence. Since all living system
works to survive and exist, one can safely rule out great collapse and the
disaster in a big bang. There is hope to this world, which as of today exist
totally in the darkness of ignorance. Light will flood and wipe out
