Listening, encouraging, and responsibly supervising



     Imagine, if you will, a dad pushing his child on a swing set.  �Higher Daddy!� the child screams. �Push me higher!!!�  Like that father, you will push these students higher.  Stand behind them and giving them your time, encouraging words, and a stable adult example.  You will be able to participate in the joy of students going higher than they would have been able to go alone.  There are three levels of commitment:
       
          Project:    Commit a few hours for projects here and there
          Program:  Commit to projects and program events like The Camp and The Trip
          Partner:    Commit to mentoring a specific student on a weekly basis

Qualifications:
          Pass Background Check
          Responsible
          21-35 yrs/old

Duties:
          Fill out and talk about Workbook with students
          Supervise during projects
          Pick up/drop off supplies and equipment when necessary
          Act in accordance with Mentor Handbook of Policies and Practices

Opportunities:
          Go to The Camp and on The Trip for free
          Resume' building
          Make a difference
