| In the Mancape series the depiction of the last swaths of greenery as a negative space, lead to the use of narrow tall canvases. The last Tree is a return to the same topic but in a more explecet way, with two �blocks� of buildings squashing in the plants� efforts at growth. The blandness of treatment of the appartment blocks contrast with the complex richness of nature. |
