Being on tour wasn’t helpful to Kevin’s active sex life that he was used to when at home with his longtime girlfriend Nadine.  Granted Nadine was a considerable number of years younger but of legal age to have a healthy relationship with him. He wasn’t all surprised when one of his best friends/band mates introduced them to each other. He should have known that he would find his love for life when he met those sparkling blue eyes.  The other fellas all laughed at him when he shook himself out of his reverie with a mumbled “huh”.

 

Of course he could always just jack off thinking of her but for some reason it isn’t the same as having her warm supple body to curl up to late at night, especially after a hard earned rest from a concert that left all the guys with hard ons and raging hormones.  Brian always has his late night calls to Leigh, Nick had De and of course who could ignore the sounds coming from AJ’s room with his fiancée Lisa. Most nights Kevin found himself jerking off listening to AJ and Lisa while thinking of Nadine. He would call her but with the job she has and loves she always needs to get a full nights rest and with him calling it would interrupt that rest. Most times she would sneak in a quick fifteen minute phone call while she was at lunch.  Those calls Kevin always cherished.  He remembered that someone said that absence makes the heart grow founder, he found out it’s a lie because with each passing day and night that he didn’t have his love his heart grew far from founder.

 

He wanted a chance to make it right.  Just before the tour started, well actually the night before leaving, he had pleaded with her to just come with them for at least a month but she admitally refused.  Saying that she couldn’t get the time off and the only reason that De and Lisa were going was that their jobs allowed them to.  Lisa became the nanny/governess to Baylee while he was with his daddy and uncles and well De was just plain selfish enough to tell them to ‘go fuck themselves’ just so she wouldn’t have to leave her Nickers all alone with those frantic sex starved teeny boppers. The argument grew till he told her that she was just a good lay and that’s all it was.  This turned her against him in an instant and she packed her stuff and fled to a friend’s house which he didn’t have the number for or even met. Now he is on tour alone and scared that he lost her for good.  He tried talking to De and Lisa but both were too preoccupied to even give a small amount of care towards him.

 

Now he slept alone and didn’t even have those few precious phone calls to get him through the periods where they couldn’t talk to each other at all.  He did notice at one point during his moping around that De and Lisa would clam up about what ever they were talking about when he was around.  At first he didn’t find it strange or odd seeing as how Lisa is just as odd and strange as AJ which is why they fit perfectly for each other.  She keeps him in line and is just wild enough to let that leash loose once in awhile. While De is a child but yet is adult enough to keep Nick from acting too much like a spoiled brat he has acted in the past.  Him and Nadine were like peanut butter and jelly, meant to be put together to make the best sandwich and last a lifetime and longer. He was almost too mature for her and she still had that childness to her that has brought out the child in him and yet she was serious about her work where it almost rivaled that of Kevin on even his most demanding days as a Backstreet Boy.

 

This went on for a good solid five months of not hearing anything about Nadine that he was startled when he heard a knock on his hotel room door.  Assuming it was just one of the guys or the dancers he didn’t bother to dress and just answered the door.  To his amazement it wasn’t who he thought it would be but who he had craved for.

 

Nadine stood in the door way just looking at Kevin, her love, for what could seem hours but was just a few seconds,

“Are you going to let me in?” She smiled at him

“Um…yeah…sure.” He stammered.  He couldn’t believe that after the argument and the not talking to each other she was here and it was for real.

“Kev, darling, you need to put some pants on.  I love you and all but I didn’t need to be greeted to a view of Kev Jr.” She grinned. Kevin blushed as he grabbed for a pair for sweatpants that were old and worn looking yet very comfortable. Nadine smiled and shook her head, “What am I going to do with you?” She asked playfully as she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a proper hello.  That night was just for sleeping and since the group as a whole have a few days off Kevin and Nadine spent most of that time in bed with sex as the agenda.

They emerged three days later happier and smiling non-stop which gave the other guys plenty to rag on him for.  During that time the other guys had activities of their own in mind with Lisa and AJ planning the wedding, De and Nick just relaxing and being together, of course Leighanne had flown in with Nadine to spend time with her husband and son, Howie hadn’t been seen much during the whole tour only to emerge with a girlfriend none knew about.

 

“Yo D, you’ve been holding out on us with someone as fine as her,” AJ grinned but not before he got elbowed in his ribs by his fiancée.

“No, I’ve just been a lot quieter about than some people around here Bone.” Howie grinned towards his best friend. “Guys I want you to meet Vanessa, the girl that is sweeter than even me.” Everyone said hello and made Vanessa feel very welcomed and part of the family.

 

At the end of the tour Kevin and Nadine were engaged and a date had been set for the wedding.  It just happened to be an exact year from the day they started dating.  All were happy and healthy at the end with a long break ahead for rest, relaxation and a wedding.
