Nick sat on the bed as Lady De slept on the bed. They had talked for what seemed hours trying to work out the reasons he felt the way he did about her and moving to live with her. After they had talked he held her close and let her sleep in his arms. As she slept he slipped his hand over he expanding belly that was hidden under her skirt to find that what Justin said was true. His feeling were varied and mixed.  He had once heard his sister and De talking. De had said that she wasn't going to breed with any of her pets till after she had her first child with the male who her mother had pick to be her life mate. The girls had gone on to talk about the possibility of getting it changed to Nick. It always tore at his heart to see her crying because she was in love with him and they couldn't be together the way she wanted.

 

Now with a baby that seamed to soon be on the way Justin was right and she just gave up and didn’t care and that's how the slipup happened. He always thought that he'd be the one to father her first if not all her children. Maybe it wasn't too late. Maybe she'd let him do that with this baby even if it was Justin's. With his mind made up Nick wrapped arms around her placing one over her belly as the other pulled her closer to his chest.

Howie was in the Play room enjoying his free time and mixing it with his job of breeding with Lady De's close hand maid Kaci Cassidy. He stepped back into the top floor private room. When he heard Lady De's name and then heard the voices. They were James and Josh.

 

"We should tell him. I didn't know that Justin lied when he told them. He has a right to know that the baby she's carrying is his." 

 

"Wait a bit or tell Lady Lisa but It would hurt her more if she thought he was taking her back because it's his baby she's carrying. Hell she doesn’t know that he knows she's with child."

 

Howie slipped back into the room with Kaci planning what to do next as he did.
