Dominate 36

 

Alex knew he should have obeyed his sister and tell Lady Lisa about the visitors.  When he got back over to the east wing he had grown so tired that he hit the bed already half asleep and fell further into a deep slumber.  He woke up to the roar of Kevin telling him to get his ass out of bed lest Lady Lisa finds him slacking off.

 

Alex was up and running before all things processed.  He head off to his little hut of a shop he ran full of various fabrics and knick knacks.  He was very successful in his little shop with that he got to keep a tiny profit from it after making sure all accounts were settled and that his Lady got her share.  He had a nagging feeling that he was supposed to tell someone something but he couldn’t remember it.

Lisa, now being three months pregnant and caring a healthy baby, was down in the kitchen with Latefa going over the lunch and dinner menus for the week.

 

“My lady did you know that Duchess is here with Master Aaron and Miss Arry?” Latefa asked

“No, when did my baby brother get in?” Lisa asked all excited.
”Why, I do believe they have been here about a week.  I had to pull out the bottles your momma fed you and your sisters and even that annoying Nickolas with.” Latefa stopped for a moment as a small tear settled it’s self on her chocolate colored skin. “I remember when your momma would sneak down here while Bob was off to doing his work for a snack of chocolate-mint ice-cream and some of my famous green mint jelly.  Child I never knew of a woman with weirder cravings then Dame Jane. Mind you know that for some odd reason a fortnight ago Alex came in here asking for some honey biscuits with green mint jelly and chocolate sauce.  I swear that Alex and Duchess are such twins its scary.” Latefa ended with a soft sigh.

”Alex knew of his sister and my brother being here?” Lady Lisa asked in surprise. “Why that little…” She trailed off not wanting to worry the cook who seems like a second mother at times. “I’m gonna have to punish him for this.  First though I want to check on my brother and who is this Arry lady?  He ain’t old enough to be breeding and De knows that.”

”Child, Arry is Aaron’s baby.  Such a precious little thing that babe is and I don’t mean Master Aaron.” Latefa always had referred to Nick or Aaron as Master even though they don’t hold such a position.

”Alexander James McLean!” Lisa called out as she walked towards his shop.
”Yes, Mi Lady, you wish for some new clothes?” Alex always worried that Lady Lisa wouldn’t have enough clothing during her time of ‘need’.
