Dominate 31
Leigh-Anne and her birthing maids were still in the room with Caryn and most of the house was still up even at the late night hour. Nick was, as far as anyone knew, either with Caryn or nearby with Justin who was a pro three times over at this.
Lisa finally couldn't take watching her friend pass back and forth and even
more so when Alexander had said something about how her back was killing her
with all the walking back and forth. So she sat her down and with Aaron as the fetcher
told her to start planning her up coming wedding. She had always been so good
at that.
Every girl dreamed of one day getting married, yet only few do. There was no
need to nowadays.
Lisa always thought that the reason De was so great at
planning a wedding was because De had always been reasonable and just assumed
that she wouldn't get married. And if her dumb ass little brother Nick didn't
come to his senses soon that may actually happen.
"Here you go." Aaron happily said as he ran back into the room and
sat down at De's feet after placing the books down on the desktop.
Lisa sat back and watched them. I was very intrigued at how he latched on to De
since the whole attack by Beth had happened to him. It was sad to see that he
would have to leave. He just wasn't going to be safe here. Then she smiled as
an idea popped into her head.
"De?" Lisa asked as she sat watching De pet Aaron,
calming him as she ran her long fingers
though his hair. She seemed to be the only person who could calm him down from
his fears after what had happened with Beth. She didn't know what De had done
to calm him down and well, quite frankly she wasn't going to ask. That could
stay between the two.
"Yeah, Lesse?"
"I'm sending Aaron with you when you go back."
"So that Nick'll have someone to talk to who's family.
Yeah, maybe Lance can take up teaching him even. He'll make a great mate for
someone. Maybe even a husband someday."
"If Nick doesn't come to his senses mom and I have
decided that when he comes of age, the contract will be upheld with Aaron
taking his place. This will keep the contract valid and keep Aaron safe. He needs
to be near you, within your sight for him to feel even the least bit safe. I
can't keep him safe here. Even though he can and will be safe, he will not feel
that way without you within sight of him. So whether or not my younger brother
comes to his senses Aaron will go with you. Alex will talk to him tomorrow, maybe
Lance should too. I'll have to tell Nick that he'll have less time to spend
with Aaron now that he'll have to learn what Nick has known for years."
Lisa said going back to her papers. Just as De tried going
back to the wedding planning with Aaron content in his new position.
