Disclaimer: I don't know any of the Backstreet Boys, anybody related to or associated with them.  Also I like to point out that this story may seem similar to Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, I tried not to have it follow along that line but I love her novels.

Prologue:

The year is 2150. I have been on my own in this strange society and have seen much in the last 150 years. Oh, you are probably wondering who I am and how I am still around now. Well, let me introduce myself, my name is Kevin Scott Richardson, and I have been a vampire for the last 150 years. Most consider me young in our society only because of the one who “Sired” me was the most powerful vampire.  He is Ryse, he has lived over 3 millia (The one that is 3000 years old You might have heard of me before, I was the oldest of a group of five men known collectively as the Backstreet Boys.
