| Welcome to my News Updates page. I will use this page as a newsletter to keep everyone informed of the latest events in my life. Wednesday February 07th 2001 Johnnywalker Gets Hit By Car On Maitland It was after work, and I decided to chill out at College and Yonge to have a beer. After a couple of hours, I started heading north on Yonge Street. I got to Maitland on the South side, and proceeded to cross the street, to cut throught the partking lot near the Catholic Childrens Aid Society. As I crossed the street heading North across Maitland, a west bound Security Car decided to take me for a ride on it's hood! Yes, you got that right. I got hit by a wanna be cop. The car was either black, or very dark brown, with checkers down the side. When I find out which company that is, I wil post it here. Anyhow, all I remember is seeing the front profile of the car and then I rememebr laying on the hood with my feet up in the air being thrust down the street for a few car lengths. They then slammed on the brakes, propelling me off the hood, and onto the street. I got up, and walked over to the side of the road, then layed down beside the CCAS in their drive way. I am not quite sure how much longer it was but suddenly there were two police dudes at the scene. They came over to me, and demanded that I get up. So, I told them that I had hurt my right knee. They still insisted that I get up. One cop came around behind me, and that is when I decided to get up before things got ugly. I still think these dudes were buddy buddy with the cops and called them, themselves to come and cover up the fact that they had just run over someone. So now at this point I got up using my left leg. They hand cuffed me, and put me in the back of the cop car. Took me to 52 Division, and threw me into the Drunk Tank. It was a cold cell, metal bed, and that was it. I was now just a "Intoxicated In Public" stat for the night. No, not a victim of a car hit, but a drunk. Were they protecting their little buddies in the security car?... (police wannabes) Well, I guess the boys in blue did not want to do too much paper work eh? Well, another day off work, maybe two to fix my sprained knee from the bumber of the security car. Take care people. And rememeber Metros Finest are out there to serve and protect (their own) |
