Pick it up alla you rudeboys & rudegrrls! Mary came back to put on the skanking kids from the 2 Tone record label, started by The Specials in the late 70's to promote racial unity in the ska scene. Having done some t shirt work for Moon Records in the East Village, Mary felt that fact gave her ink a touch of authenticity. Incidentally, ... just a little bit of ska trivia...the guy's name is Walt, the chica's name is Margaret. I liked this tattoo so much, it's inspired me to do a ska / reggae anti-racism series of flash sheets.
