| After you have been working at your job for at least a year or more, you have gained the experience and are in a better position within the company. This may be the time to ask your employer for more money, but you must be very careful at how you approach your employer and how you ask him/her for a raise. Be certain that you ask at the right time and not when your boss is in a bad mood. Also, make sure that you do not ask for a raise unless you have been doing your job well and get along with most of your co-workers and your superiors. You do not want to be too demanding or your employer may get upset and your job may be in danger. Do not ask for too much at one time! If you do not feel ready to ask for a raise, then don\'t ask for it! |
