| Dear Friends, SARRRAHJANE's package finally arrived that I had sent her some time ago. Can you believe it took two weeks to get there? Pray tell me how the Postal Service has improved by raising stamps from 34 cents to 37 cents? Or when it was cheaper did it take three weeks for a package to get somewhere? In any case, I'm trying not to get angry over it, but just to relish the fact that she loved all the items in it. So now I can finally tell you, my Dear Readers, what wondrous things were in this box full o' fun! Well, to start it off I enclosed a card that was all about big hair! And within the card I had put a refrigerator magnet that showed a woman from the 1930's debating on whether to use her powers for good or for evil. Isn't that cool? Then I put a few playthings in there. Because SARRRAHJANE has a puppet theater that her mom and sister made for her, I sent her a finger puppet that looks like a little cow. In addition, I sent her a haunted house sticker book. The stickers are re-usable so you can make various montages that you can change according to your whimsey. I also included a candy necklace! Does that bring back memories of your delightful childhoods, Dear Readers? She told me she hung it on a bust of Beethoven that she has in her apartment. Now some time ago SARRRAHJANE told me she wanted to buy a small bar for her new bachelorette pad, but not just any bar. It has to be a tiki bar like at Trader Vic's or an old Elvis movie. So I found this neat little book of tiki cocktail drinks with fun 50's and 60's-looking drawings in it. Isn't that just neat-o, Daddy-o? SARRRAHJANE had once confessed that she has a soft spot for Doris Day and loves singing her hits when she can find them at karaoke bars. So JOHNNYLEEN made a huge CD for her containing not only Doris Day hits, but also hits of other fab female singers of the 30's and 40's like Rosemary Clooney and Jo Stafford. With fantabulous gift selections like that, who wouldn't want to have JOHNNYLEEN as a fantabulous friend? Now, yesterday in My Thoughts on Important Matters section, I had written about an experience of mine at a BUMBLING BUREAUCRACY (BB) and I promised at the end that I would write more later. Well, Dear Friends, as I was getting ready for hateful ol' work this morning, I thought up tons of things that happened at BB that I can write about! So stay tuned!
