| Yes, my dears, it's my first ever entry and the birth of a dream long cherished....that I, too, JOHNNYLEEN, might become famous out there in a virtual world where people would wait breathlessly to read all of my adventures! In fact, this entry occurred soon after setting up the homepage, so you really didn't have to wait long at all, now did you? But where, oh where, to start? Do I introduce myself with my humble origins down Souf' or do I post a resume revealing myself in all my fantabulous glory? Or do I just ramble about my fantabulosity until bits and pieces of my life pop up for your enjoyment? Perhaps the latter is best for then I can remain somewhat chic and mysterious to your oh-so-cyber eyes! A couple of years ago a friend of mine once said, "JOHNNYLEEN, it must be so much fun to be you." And I answered, after some reflection, "Yes, yes it is fun to be me. In fact, it's fantabulous!" That simple observation made me realize that I wanted an even fantabulouser life and so I seek fun wherever I go, whether it's disco dancing Friday afternoons on the plastic mat that protects the carpet from my chair in my office or guzzling a life-affirming beer at Ye Olde Watering Hole while pondering the down-and-outedness of my drinking companions. My, my, the things I've seen in those circumstances; things which I might reveal in later entries of my fantabulous diary. You can expect the JOHNNYLEEN homepage to change somewhat as I learn all about being a homepage maven (which is from the Hebrew word "l'haveen" meaning "to understand"). See, not only am I fantabulous, I'm also erudite; characteristics that often are at war with one another! But there, not even an hour setting up my on-line journal and already you know so much about me. Do I dare write more? Is there anything else I can say that will entice you to check back frequently for updates? Oh, the pressure of being fantabulous and starting a web diary!
