JUNE 27, 28, 29, 2008, A FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY EVENT!

  The Fuselier Board Members have selected Cajun Palms RV Resort as the site for our up coming Reunion!  Cajun Palms RV Resort is located 1/2 mile north of I-10, exit 115, on Hwy 31, adjacent to The Crawfish House!  The resort is on 40 acres, has 330 RV/Camper sites, with full hook up, and 50 amp capabilities.   The Fuseliers & Allied Families Reunion Association is planning an agenda for all three days and an update should be forth coming after the September 22, 2007, meeting at the Crawfish House.

  Meanwhile, it is requested that all kinfolk pass this information on to other kinfolk.  Check next page for reunion and collectable items and order yours now.

  The Board Members, would like to inform all, that monies collected will be used for paying the expenses of the Reunion and hopefully to accrue additional monies for  a Scholarships Fund for our college bound kin. Scholarship Fund Monies will not be given out until the next Reunion, which will be scheduled every even numbered year, which means 2008.

  In order to raise said monies, it is imperative that all attendee's, and none attendee's, purchase baseball caps, and t shirts as a means of raising money.  Furthermore, donations (by financially stable kinsman or corporations) would be greatly appreciated.  Donations can be money, and or saleable items that could be auctioned at the event.

   Also, additional members needed as Board Members.  Donald Fuselier of Westlake, La., is President; Harry Fuselier of New Orleans is VP; Kathy Melancon of Alexandria is Secretary; and Johnny Fuselier of Mamou, La., is Treasurer.  Harry is considering moving to Vermont, so a VP is in need ASAP.  Ideal number of board members would be at least 7 and maximum of 9.

  The Association has applied and received an IRS IDENTIFICATION NUMBER FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING BUSINESS AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION AND FOR BANKING PURPOSES!

   There are 20 cabins available at $109.00 per day. Summer prices $119.00.  480 sq ft with full bath, kitchen, and room to sleep six, with 2 queen sized beds and a pull out sofa.  RV/Trailer sites are $28.00 @ for the reunion dates. (Usual Summer prices are $35.00 per day)  If you make your own reservations, inform the resort that you are with the Fuselier Reunion are you will be charged summer prices. Holiday Inn Express has 58 rooms, and Pats has 28 rooms. Holiday Inn is next to Landry's Restaurant at exit 115.  REUNION FEE'S HAVE AS YET NOT BEEN DETERMINED!!!!!! BOARD MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 22 WILL DETERMINE INDIVIDUAL FEE'S! Your are welcome to attend and take part in your reunion!
