| 22 December 2001 - Hitchin Club 85 Set List - Thoughts of a Prince Sincerely Sexy Shark Eyes Oxo Cube Poker Tainted Love Moving Out This gig came after a lack of rehearsels and little contact between the band as a whole, but the band still pulled off a good performance, with new songs Moving Out and Shark Eyes standing out as the strongest on the night, proving that Cooper has the abilility to write good songs without the aid of Brooks. Though this was a good performance, due to the lack of rehearsell, there is no way this performance can be compared to that of supporting the Crocketts or headlining the Square. Lack of rehearsel may not have been the 'tanes only problem though, with a very poor turn out in the audience in what seemed more like a church hall than a music venue. We await the return of the 'tane on 2 March at the Square. |

| 19 April 2002 - Up All Night - The Studio - Charing Cross Road Set List - Oxo Cube Thoughts of a Prince Shark Eyes Jagged Burn Jump Off Moving Out Tainted Love The 'tane finally back to their best one asks..? The answer yes....although playing to a some what dissapointingly small crowd the 'tane put on a good show as always...previewing alot of their new songs...particularly Jagged Burn and Jump Off, also showing that they managed to perfect Shark Eyes and Moving Out, both songs see J.F moving away from the heavier/faster roots of Oxo Cube and Poker towards a jazzier more harmonic side....so jazzy that we actually saw a glimpse of Matt M's jiggying to Thoughts of a Prince...whether that was him enjoying himself or the bar that he had drunk remains to be seen... When J.F return remains to be seen, but when the time comes all we ask for is more of the same. |
