Self Control (like still alive) was originally an album but do to the very nature of the album it could not be finished. It was recorded in a definate rough patch in Johnny Danger's career and life, ridden by intoxication, and smoking far too much. Despite this the songs created came out good, but Johnny wanted a fresh start so an album following this EP will likely be created for 2008. The EP is basically a chronicle of everything that happened in 2007 for Johnny Danger, although if asked to explain the songs, Johnny Danger may not remember the meaning due to the large amount of alchohol he consumed during this time.

Still alive was originally a full album. Although the album was passable only the chosen songs for the EP were songs i really liked. Don't Let Me Win seemed to be a favorite for listeners, as i never got a bad review from it. Make Some Sound is a higher paced song which i like. Purple Haze is a skaish song, while Across The Street is a downbeat acoustic song which i think was a good break from an all upbeat CD. The CD ends on two generic Alternative Rock songs in Another Lie and Night Falls.

The Escape II EP was admitedly a lazy effort. I had finished Escape I in 2004 and i wanted to take that album which was a valiant effort and tack on some better audio, better recordings. I attempted to do so, but after a while it became apparent that some of the recordings were better originally and redoing them was just ruining them. I however did like 4 redone versions which i kept on this EP, along with the old Escape and In The Studio recordings. I Kept the old ones because the original copies of these songs were so good i just had to keep them.

"A Strange Time For Living" was my first EP, after making escape i wanted to make an album dedicated to something, but didnt want to talk about the same thing in 14-16 different songs so decided to make an EP. This EP is a tribute to the 9-11 tragedy. Every song with the exclusion of 2 on the CD are about the tragedy, while Midnight Fusion and Not Another Love Song are a break from the less then upbeat stories of how the tragedy affected everyone, especially in the States. Every song was carefully done, although the singing quality is sub par, but the flow of the EP is seemless. Not a bad EP for a starting point
