12/17/04: KEG LEAVES THE NAKED STICKS
Keg and The Naked Sticks have gone seperate ways due to his post secondary schooling at the University of British Columbia. Keg will remain a close affiliate to the band and will continue to contribute guitar lines when he can. The Naked Sticks will now remain a three piece band with orginal members Johnny, Morgo and Big 4. Keg will still be credited on the upcoming release since he contributed to a large portion of its recording.
11/12/04: TOXIC REFLECTION WELL UNDER WAY
The Naked Sticks have half completed the instrumentals for their new album, Toxic Reflection. The band has finished tracks 1,4,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 as well as completing lyrics for a couple songs. TNS should be completed on instrumentals by December, in time for a small break, only to start recording vocals in early January 2005.
11/01/04: THE REV BEGINS!
TNS have begun mixing the instrumentals for their upcoming release Toxic Reflection and already the quantum leap in sheer quality is apparant. Songs are much more fleshed out this time sporting layers upon layers of guitars, strings, bass and drums. This album is the best indicator of the groups talents which should prove to be somewhat of a revelation to doubters who previously dismissed them. Hence this period in the bands history has been appropriatly dubbed "The Rev." With things progressing this smoothly, the album should be ready to go by mid 2005. |
