Summer Thunder
I walk alone
Looking out on the world
From the inside of the window of my soul
Lost in thought
My mouth moving with unspoken words
Words in my head
Words in my heart
Aware of everything
Aware of nothing
I lick a raindrop from my lips
As I lift my head to the sky
The silence shatters with
Summer thunder
There are moments I wish I was deaf
So I would not have to hear
The roaring cacophony of the world
Nor the roaring passion of my heart
Then it rains
And washes it all away
While the thunder drowns it all
In stormy
Silence.
This one was written by Brittany.  You will probably find more stuff on my site by her as time goes by.  Shes too good to pass up on.
