She cries at nights reading the notes he wrote to remind her how much he loves her

She played out the times when she stood over his bed
Just him and her all alone
His eyes were closed and his skin was so cold
She cried while she prayed for the cancer in his bones to go away
Marie took Davids hand and placed his fingers between hers and they held hands for the rest of his life
She watched him breath
Thinking one day he may someday kiss her again like no one ever has

Marie lays in bed dreaming of the time when she will see him with angel wings and how they will hold hands and he will kiss her again like no one ever has while flying above the world
