Perfume On The Nightstand
I still find your hair around the house and everywhere I go
It's only been one day
Have you changed your mind yet?
All these memories float through my head
Remembering them all
Would you like to come over today?
We could drive for hours holding hands
Just to hold hands but going nowhere
Maybe when the train comes we could jump off the bridge Onto the train and go where ever it takes us
Never coming back
We would make it if we stayed side by side
I'm tired of standing up just to fall back down
Just let me give you one more picnic
If you want, we could take a plane to Ireland, I will lay the Blanket in the pure green grass and we will lay there forever
If none of this sparks in you
It's ok, I will do fine
You left your perfume on the nightstand
I will live off that till you come take it away
