Graduation

She screamed bloody murder

Simply because she wasn't ready for things to change
And the bullet in her thigh was being numbed
By the windshield surrounding her neck
Like a cheap necklace worn for last words and last moments
It's a new pain but once the blood dries it'll all be over
And the last thing that happened...she'll never remember

Graduating so many more things that just high school
Things are going to be new
Thanks to the seconds on the clock
You're moving out into the gunfire and car wrecks'
There is nothing scary about this
Just the look on your face tells me everything
Get on the train tonight and all I ask
Is that you wave to me out of the window

She screamed bloody murder

Simply because things were changing
just wanted her to be safe wherever she went

As long as she'll be back and able to recongnize my face
When she gets back

She screamed bloody murder

Untill the night fell dead
And blood covered the ground
Like morning dew on a June morning
And the night was covered in storms
All I asked was that her screams be heard

I'll just sit on the train tracks and wait for the next train to come
