After John suprised Oprah Winfrey to celebrate her 50th Birthday, Kelly through a huge suprise party for John in Mexico.  Oprah herself helped Kelly plan the event which was attended by almost 300 over the weekend of Feb 6-8.  John was completely surprised and thrilled.

The Cake was Peanut Butter and Chocolate and shaped like an airplane.  The One & Only Palmilla was the name of the resort that Kelly and Oprah had booked for the party.  Carly Simon sang "You fly planes" to the tune of "Your so Vain" and Tony Bennette sang "Fly Me to the Moon"
Johnny and Tommy have been good friends since th 80's, now they have matching short haircuts.
If anyone has a pics of the 1997 Golden Globes I would love to have them.  That was the year that John presented the best actor in a comedy to Tom for Jerry Maguire with Kelly screaming estactically from the table they were sharing.
